where I have been lately

I know, I am becoming a horrible blogger! I have been busy and here are some places where you can see what I have been up to!

I did a guest post for the design firm I work for...it's a rundown of lighting selections I have made for a client of mine. Check it out here!

I also did a small contribution to House of Fifty...glad to share my Monday Musings with even more readers!

We have a month until we have to move out of our house now (and into a townhouse temporarily until our house is complete). This impending move has been feeling irritable, anxious, and distracted. So, a little apology in advance if I seem to be in a perpetual bad mood this month! Disarray doesn't agree with me and I know this is all temporary, but it doesn't make it any easier for me!

So, what do I do when I am feeling a little off? Look at Pinterest, of course, and drool over the food pics, pour over the fashion shots, and dream about all the beautiful interiors!

what i've been up to

Long time, no blog!! I came back from my trip to New York last week and I was so exhausted and had a ton of catch up stuff to do, I couldn't even think about blogging!  My trip was a blast...my mom, sister, and I ate and shopped our way around the city!

Again, I have to apologize for the infrequency of posts!  I have had a ton of things going on, a lot with the new house and the most important being a new job! I now work for Studio M in Tampa as a Senior Designer! I met Michelle and Eric from Studio M while in New York for Nate Day and kept in touch over the next few months.  As Studio M grew with more and more clients, they called me to see if I wanted to become a part of the team.  It was hard to say no! Studio M is a very busy firm with a great group of people and the experience I am gaining there is invaluable.  While it was very sad to say goodbye to my previous bosses of 8 years, I knew if I wanted to grow professionally, I had to take this position.

I am now working full time as opposed to part time and it is taking some getting used to! So, please please forgive me if I have a few really short posts here and there or sometimes skip a post...just trying to get used to the work force again!!
